In this episode I discuss my new segment names. I’m open to suggestions on the vaguer ones!
- On the Needles (knitting)
- Knot on my Watch (crochet)
- From the Archives (past projects)
- Treadle to the Metal (possibly?) (spinning)
- Panting and Ranting (rants, usually recorded while walking the dog)
- Quilting (no interesting name as yet)
- Sewing (as above)
- Questions (as above)
On the Needles: my Sweet Dreams Shawl from Boo Knits In Love Collection. I found beads at beadsonline.com.au
Knot on my Watch: after much fussing about, I crocheted Shih Tzu or Terrier Pattern. No more novelty yarn, please!
Sewing: I made a Tiny Pocket Tank out of print voile. The pattern is from Grainline Studios. I made continuous binding from a square as per this tutorial.
Quilting: I am making a
boring traditional quilt for a friend using 5″ squares and lovely Miss Kate fabric.
Questions: I discuss the following – “Muticraftual – ADD for crafters or essential cross-pollination?” and decide I am craftually polyamorous.

Apologies for late show notes, I’ve just succumbed to a fierce ear and throat infection and crashed rather hard!
In this episode, I talk about my finished Baby Puck. I’ve weighed it, and it comes in at 152grams including buttons. So, about three balls of Patons Jet.
I complain gently about my Watering in the Garden Shawlette.
I dream about knitting the Filtered Pullover by Amanda Bell from Interweave Knits Fall 2013 in Berocco Ultra Alpaca Light in Azure Mix.
I share the entertainment of the Russian National Ballet Theatre.
I plan to ply my Princesses of Hearts.
